Fizz, a new all-day bar and restaurant concept, will open May 27 at 3310 Dallas Parkway, Ste. 115, Plano. Following its grand opening celebration at 5 p.m. on May 27, Fizz will offer coffee service beginning at 7 a.m. before transitioning into a lounge with drinks and music in the evenings, according to a news release from the business. The eatery is equipped with two full-service bars, one that wraps around the 3,500-square-foot interior and a second on its 1,200-square-foot patio.

“We’ve been working hard to make Fizz the most fun new lounge Plano has to offer,” owner Jeff Murtha said in a statement. “It’s the perfect mix of great food and drinks, exceptional service and lively atmosphere, and there will always be something new to experience, whether it’s a rare bottle of bubbly or a captivating performer.”

Located in the West Plano Village development, Fizz's champagne list will feature more than 50 sparkling wines and the wine list will include more than 100 bottles. The wine list was curated by Fizz General Manager and Sommelier Anthony Martinez, who will be on hand to help with selections, according to the release.

The bar will also serve classic cocktails, original drinks and more, including the "Naked and Famous" that features mezcal, yellow chartreuse, Aperol and lime juice; and the "Moth 2 a Flame" that the release described as similar to an old fashioned infused with cold smoke.

Fizz will also feature live entertainment nightly and during weekend brunch, with the release stating guests can expect to hear musicians playing instruments, such as saxophones, violins and harps.

The restaurant's food menu includes a selection of meats and cheeses guests can mix and match as well as fondue, salads, caviar and main dishes, such as filet mignon or the fresh fish of the day. 972-403-3499. https://fizzplano.com
