While homes are spending fewer days on the market in Plano, the options potential buyers have to choose from are slimmer than the year prior as fewer homes are being sold in most of the city’s ZIP codes. Only Plano’s 75023 ZIP code had more homes change hands over the last year than the year prior.

Only ZIP codes 75074 and 75075 saw less than a 50% drop in average days on the market over the last year.


With a more than 31% increase, the 75025 ZIP code saw the largest increase in average sales price over the last year compared to the previous 12 months. ZIP code 75093 had the smallest increase in Plano at more than 21% compared to the previous year.


Mortgage rates steadily declined early in the pandemic with the 30-year fixed-rate mortgage dropping to as low as 2.65% in January 2021. Rates have since increased, spiking to their highest point since 2009 as of early May.
