Plano residents wishing to ask questions about parks and recreation within the city will have the opportunity to do so during an upcoming town hall meeting.

The quarterly event, which will be held at 7 p.m. April 18 inside the Davis Library, is meant to allow residents to learn more about what is going on with the city’s parks and recreation department, including programs, activities and projects.

The event is open to both in-person and online participation, according to a city news release. Individuals wishing to speak at the event may attend at the Davis Library, which is located at 7501-B Independence Parkway.

Other options include calling into the meeting at 888-409-5380, emailing a question or posting a question during the meeting on Facebook.


The meeting will be streamed live over Plano TV, the city’s Facebook page and YouTube, per the news release.
