A new individual will head Plano’s Human Resources Department, according to a city news release.

Victoria Huynh will take over as the department’s director and be responsible for oversight of employment issues in the city as well as risk management, per the release.

The overview

Huynh has spent 27 years working for the city in a number of legal roles. In 1997, Huynh was hired as the city’s primary prosecutor for the Plano Municipal Court.

Between 2000 and 2011, Huynh worked as the primary attorney on personnel matters for the city before becoming the deputy city attorney and serving as the primary attorney on employment-related matters for the city, per the release.


The HR department in Plano is responsible for areas including compensation, employee requests for accommodations, and other employment-related issues, according to the release.
