The city of Plano’s municipal services will run on an altered schedule for the upcoming Independence Day holiday.
Several facilities will be closed or have reduced hours, according to the city’s website. Holiday hours for city facilities are listed below.
- Animal shelter: closed
- Carpenter Park, Oak Point, Liberty & Tom Muehlenbeck recreation centers: open 1-6 p.m.
- Day Labor Center: closed
- High Point Tennis Center: open 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m.
- Household Chemical Reuse Center: closed
- Interurban Railway Museum: closed
- Jack Carter Pool: open 1-6 p.m.
- The Nature & Retreat Center at Oak Point Park: closed
- Pecan Hollow Golf Course: open daylight to dusk
- Plano Aquatic Center: open 1-6 p.m.
- Plano Municipal Center Offices: closed
- Plano Public Library (Davis, Haggard, Harrington, Parr and Schimelpfenig): closed
- Sam Johnson Recreation Center for Adults 50-plus: closed
- Texas Pure Products Regional Composting Site & Custer Road Facility: closed
