Plano is asking for resident input on various city services via a survey sent through the mail or offered online, according to a March 9 release.

The survey questions give residents the option to rate various city departments on a scale from “very satisfied” to “very dissatisfied.” Residents can also rank city services in terms of importance and provide input on the city’s communication strategies, various outreach programs and overall city safety.

The release stated “residents' input on the survey is extremely important ... to make sure that Plano’s priorities are aligned with the needs of our residents, we need to know what they think.”

According to the release, all responses will remain confidential and will help city officials identify and address challenges facing the community. Only 3,000 residents will receive the survey via mail, the release stated. All other residents can take the online survey here.
