Rather than leaving Christmas trees on the curbside, Plano residents can recycle their live trees and wreaths to be made into mulch and compost in the days immediately following Christmas.

The city of Plano will offer drop-off locations for tree and wreath recycling Tuesday, Dec. 26, through Tuesday, Jan. 2. The recycled trees and wreaths will be made into mulch and compost—a service provided by Texas Pure Products, which also provides curbside yard-trimming pickup services year-round.

Residents can follow road signs to drop their trees and wreaths off at these five locations, including the Texas Pure Products facility:
