Several virtual candidate forums are expected to air in the next few weeks, both live and prerecorded. Additionally, candidate responses to questions from Community Impact Newspaper are available online.

Plano mayor and City Council


  • April 1: The League of Women Voters of Collin County will record a forum with candidates for Plano mayor and Plano City Council on April 1. The recorded video will be posted for viewing on the group's YouTube channel at a later time. A direct link to the video will become available on the League's website or can be found here on its YouTube channel.

  • April 8 (mayor only): The Plano Rotary Club and Plano Arts Coalition will host a live virtual candidate forum with Plano mayor candidates from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. April 8. Registration for the event is free and required.

  • April 13 (council only): The Plano Chamber of Commerce will host a live virtual candidate forum with candidates for Plano City Council from 8-9:30 a.m. April 13. Registration for the event is free and required by 1 p.m. April 12.

  • April 15 (council only): The Plano Rotary Club and Plano Arts Coalition will host a live virtual candidate forum with candidates for Plano City Council from 5-8 p.m. April 15. Registration for the event is free and required.

  • April 16 (mayor only): The Plano Chamber of Commerce and Collin County Business Alliance will host a live virtual candidate forum with candidates for Plano mayor from 10:30 a.m.-noon April 16. Registration for the event is free and required.

  • April 8: The Plano Chamber of Commerce will host a live virtual candidate forum with candidates for the Plano ISD board of trustees from 8-9 a.m. April 8. Registration for the event is free and required by 1 p.m. April 7.
