Discovery Montessori Academy is set to open in north Plano.

The school is scheduled to open in the first week of October, office manager Maggie Carson said.

Discovery Montessori will serve students up to age 6, with an after-school program for students from kindergarten to fifth grade. The school also offers weekend Chinese classes.

The north Plano location will be Discovery Montessori’s third. There are also locations on Park Boulevard in Plano and another in Allen.
