Rise opened in Plano on March 29.

A variety of savory souffles—such as creamed spinach and herb, and spicy sausage—are listed on the menu as well as sweet souffle options, such as raspberry, bread pudding and Grand Mariner. The restaurant also serves marshmallow soup, which is a carrot and tomato bisque with goat cheese “marshmallows.” This item is described as “renowned” on the Plano menu as well as on the menus for the locations in Dallas, Fort Worth and The Woodlands.

CEO of Risen Restaurant Group Chris Florczak said in an email they chose this location based on a couple of factors.

“With the following that the original Dallas location has, including the number of guests from Plano, we felt that this was the natural next step for us to serve the community here in Plano,” Florczak said.
