The restaurant—which is connected to the wine bar Corner Wines—serves a variety of Italian sandwiches, imported meats and cheeses, pasta dishes, desserts, and more.
Michael Martin, owner of both Enzo’s and Corner Wines, said all of the food is made fresh in house. The muffuletta sandwich has been an early favorite for customers, and Martin said it’s been “flying off the shelf.”
Martin added the reception from the community has been “full of support.”
“When people come up to us and you can just see how happy they are with the product, that’s been a real pleasure for us,” he said. “The biggest thing is that we want people to walk in and feel like, ‘This is my place’—a place where you can come in, have a glass of wine, we know you by name, and the food will always speak for itself.”
The deli is in a soft opening phase until Dec. 15.
