Legacy West, a 255-acre mixed-use development nearing completion in northwest Plano, will soon host 12 restaurants along Windrose Avenue–the development's main street–including Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House. The opening of this location has yet to be announced, but Legacy West is slated to open in March 2017.

The high-end steakhouse will be a two-story restaurant located on the southeast the corner of Windrose Avenue and Legacy Drive across from the new Renaissance hotel, said Bill Martens, vice president of development and construction for Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group.

“Legacy West is an exciting mixed-use development including retail, restaurants, a Renaissance hotel, offices, apartments, urban villas and condominiums, which provides an ideal location for our classic American steakhouse,” he said.

While Del Frisco’s Grille at The Shops at Legacy will be less than a mile away from Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House, Martens said the two locations are complementary but unique.

The former is an upscale American bar and grill serving a variety of items for brunch, lunch and dinner, while the latter will serve seafood, steak and family-style dishes for lunch and dinner. The Double Eagle Steak House will also have expansive storefront windows, high ceilings, two bars, decorative lighting and contemporary design elements, Martens said.

“We are thrilled to be opening this new location [at Legacy West] to provide a convenient location to serve our loyal guests from North Dallas and Collin County who have been driving to our Spring Valley restaurant for years,” he said.

Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House relocated from Spring Valley to Dallas’ Uptown District in August and September. This relocation allowed the restaurant group to leverage the positioning of Legacy West, Martens said.
