Church proposing multifamily development at Custer Road and Legacy Drive in Plano

A 363-unit apartment complex is in the early stages of planning at the southeast corner of Custer Road and Legacy Drive in Plano.

McKinney P&Z gives green light to new US 380 commercial, multifamily project

The project will dedicate about 9 acres to retail and office space that will front US 380, and the remaining acres would be developed as multifamily housing on the rear portion of the property, city staff said.


Following months of anticipation, The Stix Icehouse in McKinney sets soft opening, grand opening dates

The Stix Icehouse plans to include at least 24 beers on tap and large patios with games and live music on its 14 acres of land. It will also have sand volleyball and a nine-hole disc golf course as well as treehouses and tire swings.

“We look forward to welcoming back our loyal fans in west Plano and celebrating our return the best way we know how—with pizza,” Cicis President and CEO Jeff Hetsel said in a statement

Steve Fields' Steakhouse planning to open in Plano in November

In addition to the steak and seafood his patrons are familiar with, Fields said the new restaurant, which is now hiring staff members, will also offer “lively piano entertainment.”
