This location will consolidate Fannie Mae’s three North Texas locations:
  • 14221 Dallas Parkway, Dallas
  • 14651 Dallas Parkway, Dallas
  • 15601 Dallas Parkway, Addison
Pete Bakel, senior director of external communications at Fannie Mae, said the company is still finalizing a timeline for when the company will move. Bakel said the company is consolidating its team to reduce cost and provide more efficient work. He said the new location will be home to less than 2,000 employees, similar to the number of employees currently in the Dallas area. Headquartered in Washington, D.C., Fannie Mae is a government-created company that moderates mortgage availability in the housing market. The company first announced its move to Granite Park in March. The 90-acre mixed-use Granite Park, located at the southeast corner of SH 121 and the Dallas North Tollway, is expected to be complete in January. The development will eventually be home to five Class A office towers, the Hilton Hotel, six restaurants, a boardwalk, fire pit and children’s play area.
