The restaurant marks the 47th location nationwide. The first 47 guests in line on opening day will receive a free salad or salad wrap and a drink to mark the occasion. Door open at 11 a.m. Franchisee Haroon Saleemi said the restaurant will also donate 20 percent of its sales that day to My Possibilities, a local nonprofit organization that serves adults with cognitive disabilities. “Fundraising partnerships with local community members like Salata helped us launch the first full day of continuing education program for adults with disabilities in North Texas,” said Michael Thomas, executive director of My Possibilities, in a release. “We look forward to the grand opening event and having a healthy dining option in our area.” The 2,400 square-foot restaurant will also unveil Salata's new design, which delivers a more vibrant and modern atmosphere, according to the company. “West Plano is a thriving area and its residents and businesses deserve a quick and affordable healthy lunch and dinner option that is completely customizable to their tastes,” said Saleemi in the release. “We invite everyone in the Plano area to join us on opening day and be among the first to experience the brand’s fresh, new design.” Hours will be 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on Sunday.
