Main event

Dallas commercial property management and investment firm CBRE announced today its negotiation of the sale of Luna Crossing to a private equity firm. The 21,817-square-foot shopping center located off North Central Expressway was formerly owned by LunaCrossing Ltd. and is home to Main Event and other retail stores.

“Luna Crossing provided the new owner with a terrific retail investment, quality tenancy and excellent term,” said Deptula in a release. “Its proximity to Central Expressway and its location within the growing city of Plano made this a very attractive asset.”

Besides Main Event, the property is also 100 percent leased to Mattress Firm, Springfree Trampoline, Chitos Mexican Restaurant and Red Wing Shoes. CBRE associate Cameron Deptula, who represented LunaCrossing Ltd. in the deal, said tenancy will not change. In addition, Deptula said LunaCrossing Ltd. sold the property because it plans to move some of the proceeds from the sale into another retail development.
