An additional 26 cases of coronavirus were reported May 19 by Collin County health officials, including 15 in Plano.

The county has a total of 1,073 cases, with 314 active cases as of May 19.

Of the total count, 728 cases have recovered, 16 are hospitalized and 298 remain in home isolation.

Plano residents make up 327 cases of the county’s total, and the city has 94 active cases, according to Collin County’s online dashboard. 225 Plano residents have recovered, while eight are hospitalized.

Including four previously reported Denton County cases, the total number of positive cases in Plano is 331.


There have been 14,008 negative COVID-19 tests in Collin County, and there are 1,803 people being monitored for the virus as of May 19.

Collin County has had 31 deaths of people who had tested positive for coronavirus, with eight in Plano.
