The county has 310 active cases of the virus and has reported 978 total positive cases.
Plano residents make up 290 cases of the total count, as shown on the county’s online dashboard May 13. McKinney residents make up 206 cases of the total.
Collin County also reported the death of one person who had tested positive for the virus: a 71-year-old Plano man with an underlying health condition. The county has reported 30 total deaths.
As of this afternoon, 668 of the county’s total cases have recovered and 20 are hospitalized, while 290 remain in home isolation.
There have been 11,674 negative COVID-19 tests in Collin County. There were 1,634 people being monitored for the virus as of May 13.
