Cognizant Technology Solutions is planning to station the equivalent of 500 full-time workers at a Legacy-area Plano office property as part of an agreement with the city. Plano City Council on Feb. 25 approved an economic incentive agreement with the New Jersey-based company, offering $273,000 in grant money on the expectation that the company plans to add $2.7 million in improvements to the property. The IT services and consulting company will eventually lease at least 69,000 square feet of space at 8383 Dominion Parkway, according to the agreement. The first employees are expected to move in by the end of June, with at least 500 employees in place by the start of 2024, the agreement states. The company also has one other North Texas office in Irving, plus a regional delivery center in the same city.
