On Tuesday, the Plano Planning and Zoning Commission approved the rezoning of 93.9 acres of land located on the southwest side of US 75 and Legacy Drive.

The land will have multifamily and single-family residences and a food truck park at Legacy Central, a mixed-use development located on the former Texas Instruments campus in Plano.

Tonight’s meeting rezoned the area from Corridor Commercial to Planned Development-Corridor Commercial. Original site plans for this development were approved at the Nov. 7 Planning and Zoning meeting.

Other items from tonight’s P&Z meeting include:

  • Commissioners approved a final plat for The Village at Stonebriar on 10.1 acres on the southeast side of Parkwood Boulevard and SH 121. The development will offer retail, restaurant and general office spaces.

  • The commission held a public hearing for the rezoning of 9.5 acres on the northeast side of Mapleshade Lane and President George Bush Turnpike for the new My Possibilities location. Preliminary site plans for My Possibilities' new space were also approved on 20 acres of land.
