Briggs Freeman Sotheby's International Realty announced April 26 that it has opened a new office at 5840 Legacy Circle, Ste. 220, in the Shops at Legacy. The luxury real estate company specializes in the purchase and sale of upscale properties, from historic and contemporary to waterfront, ranch and land.

“The team we are building to the north is remarkable and I’m so excited to be a part of it,” said John Maluso, sales director for the new Plano office, in a news release. “We have extraordinary agents and clients, and the most extraordinary brand. Our team sells more than 35 percent of our new listings within our network of agents, which shows the power of our team.”

Briggs Freeman Sotheby's International Realty achieved $150 million in sales in North Dallas in 2015. Two of the fastest-growing American cities by population are just north of Dallas–Frisco and McKinney. The company also boasts having the area’s highest sale in 2015, which was $4.1 million. Its north team’s average list price is $940,000 with an average sales price of $855,000, both notable for the area, according to the company.

“This is clearly an area that was destined for greatness, and greatness looks good on North Texas,” said Robbie Briggs, president and CEO of Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty, in the release. “I’ve described the growth in this area as graceful, and it’s making Plano, Frisco and the neighboring communities wonderful places to live.”
