The ArtCentre Theatre will present ‘You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown’ this weekend at 5220 Village Creek Drive, Plano. Charles Schulz’s inspired the view of the world as shown through the eyes of Charlie Brown and his well-known group of friends is shared through a series of vignettes showing an “average” day in the life. Tuzer Ballet presents ‘Mixed Rep Live' in Plano March 10.[/caption]Tuzer Ballet presents ‘Mixed Rep Live,’ a stylistically diverse program that includes innovative choreography, dancing, live music performed by students from Suzuki Music of Dallas and guest appearances by Ballet Frontier. Run of the Irish, a St. Patrick’s Day celebration run, will be held at the Shops at Legacy, 5741 Legacy Drive, Plano, on Saturday. This second annual run invites attendees to come decked out in green St. Patrick’s Day outfits for a 5K run and walk. After the run, attendees will receive one free beer at Scruffy Duffies. Registration is $30 for adults and $20 for children 12 and under. Online registration will remain open though Saturday morning. Participants can learn about the Holi festival and South Asian culture at Celebrate Holi. This free event includes a variety of activities for all ages, including crafts, storytelling and a PeeWee Color Run. The Plano Symphony Orchestra’s signature fundraising event, All that Jazz Gala, will take place at the Marriott at Legacy Town Center, 7121 Bishop Road, Plano. The event offers an evening of dinner, dancing and auctions while raising money to support the orchestra and its programs. The gala begins at 6 p.m. and tickets are $175 per person. At this family-friendly event attendees can check out a variety of fly fishing manufacturers, attend lectures on techniques and enjoy beer tasting local Texas microbrews. Beer tastings from Oskar Blues Brewery, Four Corners Brewing Co., Sweet Water Brewing Co. and Texas Ale Project will be available.
