Theatre Britain kicks off its 2017 season this weekend with “Will You Still Love Me in the Morning?” In this performance, Jeremy and Celia return a week early from their unsuccessful honeymoon to find two of Jeremy’s co-workers are staying in his house with their wives. “Will You Still Love Me in the Morning?” will take place at the Cox Building Playhouse, 1517 H Ave., Plano, Friday (8 p.m.), Saturday (2:30 p.m., 8 p.m.) and Sunday (2:30 p.m.). Tickets, which are $12 for children, $18 for students and seniors and $23 for adults, are available on Theatre Britain’s website.

“First Date: The Musical,” presented by the Collin College Theatre, showcases a musical comedy in which blind date newbie Aaron is set up on a date with serial-dater Casey. This musical will take place at the Collin Theatre Center, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway, Plano, Friday (8 p.m.), Saturday (8 p.m.) and Sunday (2:15 p.m.). Tickets are available on Collin College Theatre’s website and are $15-$20 per person.

Dark Hour Haunted House, 701 Taylor Drive, Plano, is celebrating Valentine’s Day with Love is Blind, a Valentine’s Day-themed haunted house. Giselle, a young heartbroken witch, has cast a spell of darkness over the estates and countryside determined to make all suffer, as is she. Tickets are available on Dark Hour’s website for $28 per person.

String Theory Irish Band will be performing at Davis Library, 7501-B Independence Parkway, Plano, Saturday at 3 p.m. This Celtic folk band will perform traditional Irish tunes. More information about this free event can be found on the band’s website.

Sunday


Davis Library, located at 7501-B Independence Parkway, Plano, presents Robotic Spin Art Sunday from 1:30-2:30 p.m. At this free event, guests of all ages will use LEGO WeDo and littleBits to create spin art. Tickets are required and given on a first-come, first-serve basis 30 minutes prior to the event.
