An art venue born from a business partnership between two downtown merchants, the Ten 20 Gallery opened on Friday, Feb. 26 at 1020 E. 15th St. in the Historic Downtown Plano. Its creators, Lockhart Smokehouse owner Jeff Bergus and Jorg’s Cafe Vienna owner Jorg Fercher, said they decided to use the empty storefront for local artists to showcase their work and to create a venue for art enthusiasts. Visitors at the gallery's opening reception party included artists whose works are currently on display. Curated artworks include a variety of paintings and photographs.
