The event will take place April 22 from 10 a.m-2 p.m. at DART Headquarters, 1401 Pacific Ave., Dallas.
In addition to filling out job applications, applicants will have the opportunity to meet with hiring staff and participate in on-site screening interviews for certain roles.
For student bus operators, DART offers a starting salary of $23.08 per hour along with paid training, medical coverage after 30 days, a pension plan and 401(k) contributions after 180 days, and opportunities for advancement, DART stated in an email announcement.
Bus operator applicants with an active commercial driver's license and passenger endorsement will be eligible for a $3,500 bonus.
Bus operator applicants who do not have a commercial license but do have an active commercial learner permit, will be eligible for a $1,800 bonus.
New bus operators who live more than 150 miles outside of the Dallas-Fort Worth region will be eligible for a relocation stipend of $1,500 that is payable after the first pay period.
Additionally, the DART Police Department is offering a signing bonus of $5,000 for new DART police officers and $2,000 for new DART fare enforcement officers.
DART's police department employs a community-oriented policing approach that emphasizes service, courtesy, assistance and conflict resolution.
In March, 250 candidates attended the job fair, and 80 job offers were extended, DART stated on social media.
