Plano residents can expect more roadwork as the city moves forward with improvements along Coit Road, part of its broader efforts to maintain and upgrade local infrastructure.

The details

Plano City Council approved on June 23 a $1.611 million contract with J&L Construction LLC to repair concrete pavement along Coit Road from SH 190 to Parker Road.

The project will include the repair of nearly 10,000 square yards of concrete pavement and sidewalks and 17 ADA-compliant ramps, according to city documents.

Plano also resumed several asphalt overlay projects in April, as previously reported by Community Impact.


What else?

Funding for the improvements come from the 2024-25 Community Investment Program, and city staff estimate a remaining balance of $88,317 for future expenditures or additional costs to the project, according to city documents.
