Plano City Council adopted an ordinance that will establish school zones around 10 different Plano ISD campuses throughout portions of June and July.
The specifics
The school zones have a 20 mile-per-hour speed limit and are only active while summer school classes are in session.
Sections of road near the following campuses will be impacted:
- Christie Elementary, June 2-26
- Bowman Middle and Memorial Elementary, June 2-July 18
- Weatherford Elementary, June 2-26
- Mendenhall Elementary, July 7-18
- Singler Elementary, July 7-18
- Thomas Elementary, July 7-18
- Jasper High, June 2-25
- Renner Middle, June 2-17
- Shimelpfenig Elementary, June 2-17
