What you need to know
The program provides Plano ISD rising juniors and seniors opportunities with local companies and organizations for paid summer internships.
Companies interested in participating will need to fill out an application on the program’s website by March 15, program Director Amber Zuckerman said in an email. Companies will be able to indicate their interest in hosting an intern, underwriting an intern at a local nonprofit or sponsoring the program on the application.
The 2025 program will last from June 9-Aug. 1, and interns will work 20-40 hours per week. Applications for interested students will open Jan. 17.
The background
In 2024, the program filled 65 internship positions at 31 corporate or nonprofit entities.
