This event will feature a wide selection of award-winning wines and cuisine from 20 local restaurants. A food pass gives guests access to taste cuisine from 15 local restaurants between noon-4 p.m. The restaurants will compete for the People’s Choice Award. The winner will be announced at 4:15 p.m. The wine-tasting pass includes 20 one-ounce tastings at participating wineries. The ticket also includes a signature wine glass. The Junior League of Collin County will host their annual fundraiser holiday gift market. The event will have over 125 merchants featuring unique holiday and home décor, ladies clothing, accessories, gifts, jewelry, children’s items, gourmet food and more. Rotary Club of Plano East will display a field of over 1,000 3′ x 5′ American flags to commemorate Veterans’ Day, express gratitude to veterans and first responders. This will be a visual expression of gratitude to those who serve, present and past, living and deceased. On each flag hangs a dedication card that reflects the service given by the honoree. Each card tells the story of heroes whose lives were devoted in service to their fellow man. From the Civil War to the present, all are represented. Taps will be played at dusk.
