What you need to know
Registered voters in Collin County can cast a ballot at any voting station in Collin County on election day. A comprehensive list and map can be accessed on Collin County’s website.
Denton County residents can vote only at their precinct location between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on election day. Denton County voters in Plano are located in precinct 2091, and their designated voting location is the Carrollton Public Library, 4220 N. Josey Lane, Carrollton.
Polling locations will be open from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Voters must present a valid form of photo identification to cast a ballot at a polling location, such as a Texas Drivers License or a United States Passport. What’s on the ballot
Five Plano City Council seats are up for grabs, with the Place 2, Place 4, Place 5 and Place 8 races all featuring multiple candidates.
No incumbents are up for reelection—Place 2, 4 and 8 council members Kayci Prince, Anthony Ricciardelli and Rick Smith, respectively, have all reached their term limit, while Place 5 council member Shelby Williams resigned in March with plans to run for a seat on the Collin County Commissioners Court.
Three contested Plano ISD board of trustees seats are also up for grabs.
Sam Johnson and Xiomar Pierre are running for Place 2, current board president Nancy Humphrey facing challenger Harper Weaver in the Place 3 race and three candidates, Elisa Klein, Andrew Rettke and Dash Weerasinghe running for Place 6.
Plano voters will also see a record $647 million bond election, broken down into seven propositions on the ballot.

In Collin County, 54,292 voters cast their ballots either in person or by mail in early voting. About 7.5% of registered voters cast their ballots in Collin County.
For Denton County, 4.74% of the county's registered voters submitted ballots during the early voting period, or 29,051 of 611,738 registered voters.
