Here’s everything voters in Plano need to know for Election Day, Nov. 5.

Where to vote

On Election Day, polling locations will be open Nov. 5 from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. in Collin County and Denton County.

Voters in Collin County are able to vote at any polling location in the county. Plano has 34 Collin County voting centers, and a full list of polling locations can be found on the county’s website.

Denton County voters must vote at their precinct’s designated polling location. The polling location for Denton County voter precinct 2091 is Prestonwood Baptist Church, 6801 W. Park Blvd., Plano. A full list of Denton County polling places can be found on the county’s website.

What to bring

According to the Texas Secretary of State, voters should bring one of the following seven approved forms of ID to the polls:
  • Texas driver's license
  • Texas election ID certificate
  • Texas personal ID card
  • Texas handgun license
  • U.S. citizenship certificate with photo
  • U.S. military ID card
  • U.S. passport
