Ramen Belly opened March 13 in Plano.

The Japanese-inspired menu items include pot stickers, sashimi, ramen and poke bowls. There is also a category called “ramen in a blanket” which is described as “sauced up ramen noodles comfortably snuggling between two tonkatsu.”

The eatery is owned by Andy Diep and John Lieu. This is the second Ramen Belly location, the first one is in Iowa City, Iowa.

“I really like historic downtown Plano, because it reminds me of downtown Iowa City,” Diep said.
