Patty Lou’s Smashburger is slated to open in the downtown Plano space that was formerly Starbucks Plano Icehouse, which closed Sept. 27.

According to a listing with Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, filed March 13, construction will include changing out millwork and equipment from a coffee shop to a burger cafe. Construction is slated to begin in May and end in September.
