A news release from Triten Real Estate Partners states Assembly Icehouse, Tacoro and Cliff Coffee will open in early spring 2025 in Assembly Park, a mixed-use neighborhood in Plano.

The details

Assembly Icehouse will provide a casual, family-friendly dining experience and will include the following:
  • Large, full-service bar
  • More than 20 televisions
  • Covered outdoor patio with dining and lounge seating that offers direct views to the development’s central park
  • Two 15-foot LED screens
Tacoro will be a pickup-and-go Mexican restaurant and taqueria, and will feature the following:
  • Elevated, full-service bar serving blended margaritas and a vast collection of tequila and mezcal
  • Light seating options will also be included within the space for those wishing to dine in
Cliff Coffee will feature a Southwest American motif and is designed to encourage guests to relax and stay a while, according to the release. It will serve locally sourced baked goods and coffee.

Quote of note

The new dining destinations were conceptualized by local business owners Jacob Cox and Danny Wilson, who partnered in 2015 to establish hospitality group Blender Brands, and JR Muñoz, owner of Deep Ellum’s restaurant Will Call.

“As members of the local community, we recognized the shortage of nearby opportunities where kids can run free, parents can relax, and groups of friends can gather,” Cox said in the release. “We knew Assembly Park was set to be a game changer. ... Our hope with the introduction of these new concepts is to spur opportunity and continued growth for east Plano.”
