A new La La Land Kind Cafe location is set for the Shops at Legacy East in Plano, according to a Facebook post from the shopping center.

The coffee shop serves a variety of hot and iced coffee, matcha and tea drinks as well as a food menu that features several toasts with different toppings and a selection of pastries.

The new location is set to start construction in late August and finish in late November, according to a listing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. La La Land Kind is going into a the former Soul Bird Chkn Shack location, which closed earlier this year.

La La Land has eight locations in Dallas, including one other Plano location which opened in February. The company also focuses on hiring and mentoring foster youth.
