A technology solutions company with over 40 locations worldwide, Diversified, will move into northern Plano, according to a news release.

The company plans to move into Granite Park 6, the newest tower within the mixed-use development Granite Park, according to city officials. Diversified headquarters will move from New Jersey to Plano, a company spokesperson said.

“This location is in a growing hub of business and technology innovation,” Plano Mayor John B. Muns said in the news release. “Diversified will surely have a tremendous impact on the industry and the City of Excellence.”

The overview

The new global headquarters for the company, which occupies 4,000 square feet in Granite Park 6, is expected to support Diversified’s leadership team and provide space for local teams and visiting associates to work, per the news release. The company works in audiovisual and media innovations with clients including major retailers and media organizations, sports and live entertainment venues, and government agencies, according to its website.

Diversified has 2,600 associates around the world, but no associates are required to move into the global headquarters space because the company has flexible remote work policies, a spokesperson said.

“Diversified is eager to tap into the skilled workforce in Dallas and surrounding areas, which means potential job opportunities and growth for local talent,” a spokesperson said in an email. “We’re looking forward to building a team that reflects the diversity, energy, and expertise of the North Texas region.”

Why it matters

The Plano headquarters is expected to be a facility to support further company growth and showcase the company’s technologies, per the news release. The new workspace includes areas to show off Diversified’s curated content and collaborative work areas for teams, according to the news release.

“This new headquarters is a working example of what we do best—integrating advanced technology into functional spaces,” Eric Hutto, CEO of Diversified, said in the news release. “It’s designed to showcase how modern technology can adapt to the needs of any business, providing an interactive space for our clients to see the practical benefits of the solutions we deliver.”

What else?

Diversified is the second company to announce a relocation to northern Plano within a week. Last week, Simplilearn announced it was moving into office space in Legacy Town Center.
