Digital skill training company Simplilearn is moving its United States headquarters to Plano’s Legacy Town Center, according to a news release.

The company will move into the sixth floor of an office building located at 5851 Legacy Circle, per the news release.

Simplilearn provides over 1,500 live online classes, which cover areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, cybersecurity and more, according to its website. Per the news release, the courses have been taken by over 8 million users.

The relocation to Plano was announced after Simplilearn’s founder and CEO Krishna Kumar had been living in North Texas for several quarters, according to the news release.


"Our move to Texas marks a pivotal moment in our journey, driven by our commitment to being at the forefront of a thriving tech ecosystem and tapping into a diverse talent pool,” Kumar said in the news release. “Establishing our headquarters here positions us to better empower professionals with the skills needed to excel in a digital-first world.”

The company’s courses are designed in conjunction with companies, such as IBM and Google, and universities, including Purdue University.
