1. Dallas North Tollway expansion Daily and nightly lane closures are expected to continue as the Dallas North Tollway widening project continues stretching from SH 121 to the President George Bush Turnpike. When complete, the DNT will consist of four lanes in both directions. In the meantime, speed limits along the DNT have been lowered to 60 mph, and drivers can expect various lane closures throughout the remainder of the project. 2. Plano Parkway, Los Rios Boulevard, Coit Road intersection improvements Intersection improvements are under way at four intersections in Plano: A) Plano Parkway and Shiloh Road, B) Plano Parkway and Los Rios Boulevard, C) 14th Street and Los Rios Boulevard, and D) Coit and Hedgcoxe roads. The intersections will be constructed one or two at a time. All four intersections will be complete in early December. In total, there will be 18 new turn lanes. 3. Ohio Drive repairs Plano drivers can expect lane closures to continue on Ohio Drive for a pavement repair project as crews work in the area spanning from the PGBT to SH 121. At the end of March and early April, there will be no northbound traffic allowed from Plano Parkway to Park Boulevard. In April, construction crews will begin work from Park Boulevard to Parker Road. Each phase is expected to last about two weeks. Timeline: February-September Cost: $3.8 million Funding source: city of Plano

4. Independence Parkway repairs Construction crews are working on concrete repairs along Independence Parkway running from Parkhaven Drive to Parker Road. One northbound lane and one southbound lane will be closed daily with additional northbound and southbound lanes closed from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. This project, when complete, will span from Spring Creek to Plano parkways. Timeline: January 2016-August 2017 Cost: $4.3 million Funding source: city of Plano
