The company's new headquarters location, 12801 N. Central Expressway, Ste. 900, Dallas, will quadruple the size of the company's floor space and triple the number of work stations and offices, according to a news release.
Swagit has been headquartered at 850 E. Central Parkway, Ste. 100, Plano, since 2006, but the company wanted to design its own space, David Alex Owusu, co-founder and director of Streaming Media Services, said in the release.
"The expansion just wasn't about Swagit wanting a larger facility or a different look and feel; we wanted to design a space that met the future technological and video production needs of local government," he said. "Honestly the move was a culmination of Swagit and our clients growing together, with the primary goal of creating more transparency by promoting digital content with unique 'hands-free' platforms."
The new headquarters will have a cafe, gaming lounge, workout facility with showers, a VIP suite and a 1,000-square-foot production studio.
"We now have a facility that will allow us to further recruit and maintain future employees that live up to the high standards Swagit employees are known for having," Bryan Halley, co-founder and director of Video Technology and Affairs, said in the release.
Swagit provides streaming media solutions to government agencies at all levels, including services such as studio and audio recording and post-production. The company has a network of servers stretching across the U.S. from California to Washington; Texas; Virginia; and Montreal, Canada.
