Touchmark at Emerald Lake, a senior living community in McKinney, will soon welcome assisted living and memory care residents after its latest addition opens in May.

The Terrace, slated to open May 2, is the last part of the community to open, according to a news release from Touchmark. The building will house assisted living and memory care residents in addition to the Lake House building that houses independent living residents. The community welcomed its first residents in October with the Lake House's opening.

Touchmark at Emerald Lake is home to a variety of dining venues and bars, a health and fitness center, a salon and barbershop, a theater, and an 11-acre private lake stocked for fishing.
