Medical City McKinney celebrated 100 years of service on April 1 at 4500 Medical Center Drive, McKinney. The city hospital employs more than 1,100 people, has 750 physicians on staff and treats more than 38,000 patients through the ER annually, according to a news release. The facility was originally built for $100,000, and has since expanded and changed names several times.
