The number of homes listed for sale decreased in McKinney in August when compared to the same month in 2019.


The city's 400 new listings in August were a 16.14% decrease from the amount last year. Each of the four ZIP codes in McKinney saw a drop in the number of new listings year over year, according to market data provided by the Collin County Association of Realtors.

Despite new listings decreasing, the number of homes under contract in McKinney in August increased over the same period.


The median sales price of homes that were sold saw increases in each of McKinney's primary ZIP codes in August.


The percentage of asking price received for homes sold in August saw a modest increase in each of the city's four ZIP codes when compared to the same period in 2019.
