West Stacy Road in McKinney will be expanded from four lanes to six lanes.

McKinney City Council voted in favor of executing a contract with Pavecon Public Works LP for over $6.1 million to add two lanes to the road at an Oct. 6 meeting.

The lanes will be added on Stacy between Custer and Ridge roads, according to city documents.

Council also approved authorizing necessary change orders under the contract not to exceed $6.7 million.
