1. 4R Ranch Vineyards
Muenster-based vineyard 4R Ranch opened a McKinney tasting room in late 2020. The winery specializes in Viognier, Cabernet Sauvignon and Tempranillo. The tasting room, staffed with sommeliers, features a menu with 20 wines, along with charcuterie boards and flatbreads. Prices range from $20-$50 per bottle, with varieties such as the Ranch Red Bordeaux Style blend.

Barons Creek offers 30 wines at their downtown McKinney location with grapes from Texas, California, Washington and Spain produced at their Fredericksburg winery. Most bottles are priced between $34-$50, with varieties such as cabernet sauvignon and rosé. The winery hosts live music every Saturday and Name-That-Tune Bingo on Wednesdays, in addition to several other events.

Attached to the award-winning 1845 Distillery near Lowry Crossing, Christian Belle Winery serves nine wines ranging from $18-$24 per bottle, including Cameaux Sweet VooDoo Rosé. The distillery offers tours on the weekends.

Landon Winery opened their downtown McKinney location in 2005, with wine produced at their Greenville winery. The winery is known for The Texan, an award-winning Sangiovese Cabernet Sauvignon blend. The winery is available for private events, and offers half-off any bottle on Wednesdays, in addition to a kitchen offering charcuteries and flatbreads. Prices range from $19-$109 per bottle.

Located in downtown McKinney, Lone Star Winery hosts four wine walks each year, along with several tasting events and live music every weekend. Lone Star’s wine ranges from $24-$69 per bottle, such as the Drinkin’ Buddy Red Blend and Shady Lady Chenin Blanc. In addition to wine, Lone Star’s kitchen serves appetizers, flatbreads and charcuteries, including family-recipe wings and artichoke dip.

Michelin-recommended restaurant Harvest at the Masonic offers a wine menu with over 200 wines ranging from $35-$508, with 200 wines under $200, including the Caymus Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon. The award-winning restaurant in downtown McKinney hosts live music on the third floor and offers ribeyes, Durac pork chops and pan roasted redfish from the kitchen.
