Utah-based drink shop Swig plans to open its second location in McKinney, according to a representative of the company.

The second Swig location in McKinney will open at the northeast corner of Eldorado Parkway and Ridge Road in the parking lot of a Market Street store. The store is slated to open in either late 2023 or early 2024, according to a representative of the company.

The drive-thru soda shop specializes in customizable carbonated drinks with a “dirty twist,” including flavor mix-ins, creams, purees and fresh fruits. Swig also offers boba teas, sweet teas, energy drinks, refreshers, hot chocolate and snacks, such as cookies and pretzel bites.

Swig opened its first McKinney location, as well as its first Texas location, in 2022. The company currently has over 45 locations in five states, including four locations in Texas. www.swigdrinks.com
