1. E.A. Randles Park

Project: The park renovation project includes the addition of a new basketball court and splash pad, and expanded play equipment. The project also includes work on a pavilion, trails and the parking lot.

Update: The park project was substantially completed in mid-March.

2. Light Walk at Towne Lake

Project: A project will add a concrete trail with colorful and experiential permanent lighting. The initiative is part of a larger project to renovate various elements of Towne Lake Park.


Update: The lighted trail is under construction and expected to be completed this fall.

3. Wilson Creek Greens Trail

Project: The project to extend the Wilson Creek Trail will include construction of two pedestrian bridges as well as a trail overlook.

Update: Construction is expected to be completed in April.

  • Funding source: McKinney Community Development Corporation, Collin County grant funds
4. McKinney Greens Park

Project: The neighborhood park will include a playground, boardwalk, walking trails, a pavilion and a parking lot.


Update: Construction work on the park is underway and expected to be completed this summer.
