Officials will break ground on a retail, office and hotel building at 205 W. Louisiana St., McKinney. The ground breaking will take place Monday at 5:30 p.m. at the building’s future site.

Methodist McKinney Hospital plans to open a new
Methodist Craig Ranch Surgery Center at 6045 Alma Road in Craig Ranch in November.
The center will have seven operating rooms and four private rooms. Services and specialties that will be offered include general surgery, urology, gynecology, orthopedic surgery, otolaryngology (ear, nose and throat), pain management, sports medicine and joint replacements.
