12. Kroger Marketplace


The store, located at Lake Forest Drive and University Drive, saw renovations including upgrades to decor as well as new service layouts and selections in various departments including the bakery, service deli, produce, floral, and meat and seafood sections. The store also saw a “grocery aisle reset,” the release stated, as well as new local product additions. The remodeling project began in mid-July and was completed in early October, a company representative said, noting that the store remained open during the project.13. Starbucks

A new Starbucks location is expected to be developed in west McKinney, according to a project filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The Seattle-based coffee company is known for its wide variety of hot and cold espresso drinks, including its frappuccino blended beverages.
