McKinney Wine Merchant offers several different wine options ranging in price from $9-$400.[/caption]On April 5, 2011, Andy Doyle's business, McKinney Wine Merchant, joined several other businesses in downtown McKinney's renaissance. Shortly after he said he gained a cult following.
The business recently celebrated five years, and Doyle said he still has a loyal following. He said 95 percent of his business consists of regulars, adding that he loves to shine the light on new products for customers.
McKinney Wine Merchant is a fine wine store that carries wines from small independent producers with prices ranging from $9 up to $400 for collectible bottles that Doyle said is just a small part of his business.
Doyle has also found partnership with other local businesses such as Local Yocal Farm to Market and its Cab and Slab monthly membership ($100) that includes two generous servings of pasture-raised Wagyu or 100% percent Certified Angus beef steaks from Local Yocal and a world-class, collectible bottle of red wine selected by McKinney Wine Merchant.
