Academic


Coding Studio


This camp gives attendees an inside look at coding, and participants will be able to create virtual apps and write their own programs.

Robotics-Battle Bots


In this camp attendees will work in small groups to design, build and program their own robots that they can enter into the battle bot competition at the end of camp.

Youth Career Exploration Camp


At the camp children are introduced to jobs in emergency response. The camp guides students in the classroom and in the field, showing them all sides of the fast-paced jobs. Camps are limited to 12 people.

Jump into Arts Studios camp


Jump Into Arts Studios offers six camps for all ages and artistic styles. Participants learn artistic skills, such as pottery, sculpture, painting, sketching, printmaking and tie-dye.

Made of Sugar & Spice camp themes include “Unicorns & Rainbows,” “Once Upon A Time Princess Camp,” “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Rock Star Camp” and “Under the Sea Camp.” Activities include crafts, dress up and more. Registration begins March 1.

Critter Camp


Attendees learn about kindness and love while also learning about appropriate animal care. Activities include guest speakers, games, playing with and reading to dogs and cats, crafts, learning how to spot animal abuse and more.

These camps feature opportunities for children to learn about nature while encountering animal ambassadors and investigating nature-themed topics. Preregistration is required.

Prairie Adventure Camp


At camp attendees participate and learn how people lived in the past by watching blacksmiths; tasting homemade ice cream and pies; and watching how soap, candles and rugs are made.

The Apex Centre has a variety of camps with different themes ranging from sports and cartoons to Hollywood and food. Field trips to Adventure Landing and Hurricane Harbor are included.

Campers will swim, take on-site field trips, jump in a bounce house and play sports. Sports include tennis, basketball, indoor rock climbing and knockerball.

Fencing Camp


Attendees learn the basics of fencing as well as participate in offensive and defensive drills and games. Equipment is included, and participants must wear pants and tennis shoes. This camp is offered for children and adults.
